This interactive and audio-visual event will confront the following questions: How do we better communicate ecological awareness? How do we improve storytelling in the age of climate change? In what ways-new and old- may the cultures of cinema and media address environmental movements and science? From Film Festivals to Media Platforms and Green Cinema to Conservations Awareness, these organizations will share their experiences on cinema, media, and education in order to address the above questions. They will share short films and/or clips in the goal of interacting with the audience. Exploring concepts like community engagement, relationship between aesthetics and ethics, and different mechanisms of building awareness in the world as educators, filmmakers, platforms, and film festivals, they will provoke educators and audience to forge new ways of envisioning future communication about the environment.
