Dr Mona is an assistant professor of English literature. As a faculty member, she teaches undergraduate courses in college reading and writing, research skills, drama minors and American survey. Also, is a member of the recruitment committee in the college. She is responsible of recruiting new students for the department. This role has multiple duties that relate to enabling students to access the information about the major/department, and attracting the best students as possible.
She has nearly 10 years of teaching experience in both, government schools and university as a teaching assistant. She received a full scholarship to pursue MA and PhD in the United States. She is enthusiastic with knowledge of literature, literary criticism, a team member, and a team leader. Always eager for self-improvement, self-motivated, professionalism, creativity and acquires high communication skills. She is dedicated to the field of education and empowerment of women globally.
She attended multiple seminars and webinars in United States as well as worldwide. She also presented a webinar about Khaliji Women Empowerment. Her dissertation was a comparison between two khaliji feminist novels in relation to women’s rights in the Gulf Region.
Her research interests are in American Literature, Women Writers, Global and Minority Fiction, Postcolonial Theory and Literature, Feminism.
