The journal Éducation relative à l'environnement : Regards - Recherches - Réflexions is the result of a partnership between various research institutions in the French-speaking world, anchored by a team of researchers at the Université du Québec à Montréal (grouped around the Centre de recherche en éducation et formation relative à l'environnement - Centr'ERE).
Created in 1998, this international journal stimulates the production and dissemination of texts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and critical reflection in the field of environmental education and related fields, in both formal and non-formal educational contexts.
In line with theoretical and fundamental concerns, the journal aims to foster close links between research and intervention, in a process of mutual enrichment of theory and practice. It invites practitioners to take a reflective look at their educational actions, and to share and discuss their experiences. It is aimed at researchers and students, as well as teachers and other educators.
The journal is coordinated by Lucie Sauvé (director and professor emeritus at the Université du Québec à Montréal) and Étienne van Steenberghe (editor-in-chief and associate professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal).

This is the only French-language international research journal in the field of environmental education. It is recognized as a reference journal by the Haut Conseil de l'évaluation de la recherche et de l'enseignement supérieur (Hcéres) in France.
Call for Papers:
The journal only accepts unpublished texts written in French (or translated into French).
If the paper has been accepted by the WEEC scientific committee at the Abu Dhabi Congress, the author(s) can send it directly to the journal address (revue.ere@uqam.ca). Full papers of no more than 7500 words and must be submitted by April 1, 2024, for publication in autumn 2024.
Authors must comply with the journal's publication guidelines, otherwise their article will be returned. Publication guidelines are available on the journal's website.
All articles are double-blind peer-reviewed.
